FAQs

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date. I will send you an invoice, an agreement to sign, a questionnaire and a styling guide. Once your deposit is received your date and time will be confirmed.
What time will our shoot be?
All outdoor sessions are shot in the evening 1 hour before sunset, this is when the light is soft and perfect for those magical moments. Indoor sessions will typically be in the morning around 9/9:30am but will be discussed upon booking.
Where should we do our shoot?
There are two options to think about for your shoot. Whether that be in your own home for something more intimate and carefree, just hanging out with your family. Or my personal favourite being at an outdoor location. Taking photos are an adventure and something that I want to make enjoyable and memorable for you. So if you’d like I can organise a session plan for the day of your shoot. Think, fish & chips by the ocean, a picnic in a grassy field or some bevies on the beach. It is totally dependent on you and what you would like to get out of your session with me. I have a bunch of locations I can suggest if you do get stuck.
What do we wear for our photos?
Once your shoot date is confirmed I will send you can email with a styling guide to help guide you on what to wear. Don’t worry, I got you!
What happens if we need to cancel/reschedule or we get sick?
I am more than happy to do my best to organise another session date with you as I’m fully aware that things happen that are out of our control and unfortunate circumstances are always considered. However if you do choose to cancel, your session deposit is non-refundable.
If you or your little ones are sick on the day of the session, I will happily reschedule for another day. And the same goes for me, I will never turn up to a session if I am un well, especially not around your new born baby. If I do get sick I will be sure to let you know asap so we can reschedule another day. There are no fees to rescheduling your session.
What happens if it rains on our session day?
I will make a call on our shoot date and consider rescheduling if the rain doesn’t ease.
Do you travel?
I do, up to 1 hour is covered in your session but anything additional will require a fee. This will be quoted on an individual basis. Do you travel within New Zealand? Absolutely, I would love to and would feel so honoured to travel to document some magic for you! Airfares and accommodation would need to be covered.
When can we expect to receive our gallery?
Once our session is finished please allow anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks to have your gallery edited and ready for your viewing. However if you keep an eye out on my Instagram, I will usually post a few sneak peaks on there!
